Because music they play fills your heart with bright and
positive emotions - it-s punk-rock with some elements of raggy
and ska, which actually turns everything upside down and
inspires you -and that is a powerful instrument in the battle
with drab and humdrum existence!!!
The History of the Band:
The Band "SNG" was founded in the beginning of January
2005. Rehearsals, rehearsals and rehearsals and … the first
show, which turned to be a real success. Since then SNG
started its active concert activity in the Republic of
Belarus, which was continued by a mini-tour across southern
part of Ukraine (Sevastopol - Simferopol - Herson - Odessa).
In a month the Band was invited to take part in the annual
Ukrainian open-air music festival "The Sounds of the Basement"
held in the central park of Pervomaisk, which was visited by
more then 3000 people. The Band returns to Minsk, and plays at
all punk-rock parties, which take place in Belarus. As a
result SNG gave 5 live shows in May
(Minsk-Baranovichi-Gomel-Bobruisk). The Band is invited to
play together with punk-rock legends from Moscow "Tarakany" in
Gomel. This month SNG is offered to take part in the punk-rock
compilation CD "Punk Attack", so the Band makes a record of
its song "Vyhodnoi" ("Week-end"), which is later issued in
some other Russian compilation CDs. In June SNG actively
participates in live shows held in Belarusian towns and cities
and June 26th, the Day of Youth, the Band celebrates on stage
together with the thousands of visitors of an open-air music
festival held in the central park of Pinsk. On June 1st SNG
takes part in the 1st Belarusian punk-rock festival "Punk ugar
2005" in Gomel. The Band is also invited to play at an
open-air music festival held at the stadium of the city Uzda
on July 3rd and, thus, to celebrate the Day of Independence of
the Republic of Belarus together with the visitors of the
show. After short summer holidays SNG returns to Minsk and
takes part in the large-scale Belarusian open-air music
festival "UraJAH 2005" held in Minsk park "Dreamland". Next
day the Band plays in Minsk night club "Akvarium" at a
"blink-182 party". SNG actively takes part in the live
shows held in Minsk and in other Belarusian cities (Gomel,
Polotsk, Mogilev etc.). The year of 2005 the Band spent
touring across Ukrainian cities, such as Harkov - Simferopol -
Sevastopol. In the beginning of 2006 the Band records 3 new
songs, which are later issued at various punk-rock compilation
CD-s. On April 10th SNG leaves for Moscow to take part in the
large-scale annual music festival "Rock Spring 2006" held on
April 11th in one of the popular Moscow night clubs
"B2". On April 22nd the Band performs at a 3 day festival
"otNASHEnije" held by the legendary rock radio station "NASHE
RADIO". After the event the Band leaves for Ukraine and
Russian to give live club shows in Donetsk and Rostov. In
July 2006 SNG shooted its first video on the song "First
love".
The Band actively tours, its songs can be heard on
different radiostations of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, which
assigns SNG with the status of one of the leading punk-rock
bands of Belarus.
Currently the Band spends much time in the studio recording
its first album, which is to be issued in the middle of 2007.
And up to that moment SNG will rejoice their fans by taking
part in live shows held in different towns and cities of our
Planet.
